2. Free accessibility check

When you enter a URL to check, we load that publicly reachable page through our own scanning service and analyse it technically. The submitted URL is processed to run the scan; the result is shown to you immediately and is not stored linked to you unless you submit the contact form (see 3). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (performing the check you requested, legitimate interest in a working service).

3. Contact / report request

If you request a full report, we store your email address plus the checked URL and the resulting score to handle your request and reply. The same data arises if you email us. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in replying). We do not use this data for newsletters or advertising. It is deleted once the request is settled and no statutory retention periods apply.

4. Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested resource) to deliver and secure the page. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Analytics (Plausible)

Where enabled, we use Plausible Analytics — cookieless, privacy-friendly statistics with no personal profiles and no cross-site tracking. Plausible sets no cookies, so no consent is required for it. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Google Analytics 4 (consent only)

We additionally use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — but only where you have explicitly agreed via our consent banner. No Google script is loaded and no cookie is set before your consent. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse your use of the site; the IP address is truncated (anonymize_ip). Data may be transferred to Google LLC servers in the USA. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses for this transfer; even so, a level of protection equivalent to European standards cannot be guaranteed in every case.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR together with § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent at any time with future effect — clear this site's website data in your browser; the consent banner then reappears and you can choose "Decline". Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact the address above to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
